Inspired by the Alex Rider novel, Stormbreaker

We've created loads of work in class on Alex Rider.  Here's our latest work.  Today, we used the Strip Designer app on the iPod for the first time to create these introductions to ourselves as Primary Spies.

Y5 Gadget Designs

Take a look at a couple of the gadgets we have designed in our trios.  Today we presented them to an audience that included our parents.  Although it was a little scary, everyone worked tremendously hard to produce successful presentations.

Just admiring the great outfits you have chosen with your hard earned money!  Well done Year 5.  These are the children who've answered 100+ this week already.  Great to see some new names up there.  Keep on working hard!

 

Tremendous Tangrams!

Enjoy watching a great explanation from Lauren G and Alisha of how we used tangrams.  We learnt about translating, reflecting & rotating as well as right angles, straight line angles and 45° angles.  We even looked at compound angles!


Listen out for our sentence openers too - we're getting very good at using them now!

Y4 visited Eden Camp

A chilly time was had by all!  Year 5 Digital Leader CaitlinB and her assistant for the day EllieC made this video with snippets of waht they saw during the day.  Looked a great day out!
